The Waterfront is a contemporary bar and restaurant in a fantastic setting right on the waterfront on Plymouth’s Grand Parade!

The Waterfront is a Grade II listed building steeped in maritime history. Formerly the home of the Royal Western Yacht Club, founded in 1827, the Club plays a leading role in the sport of sailing. It introduced short-handed races including the Single-Handed TransAtlantic Race most famously won by Sir Francis Chichester in Gyspsy Moth II.

Having been completely refurbished a couple of years ago, the new contemporary style has plenty of nautical references and a respectful ‘nod’ to the building’s illustrious past. The Waterfront is a relaxed, stylish venue awash with natural light making the most of its fantastic waterside setting.

Outside, a large decked terrace offers plenty of dining space overlooking the water – a fantastic  setting for a drink, lunch or that extra special celebration!
