Plymouth’s Drake Circus, will be filled with flowers and fun for all the family this summer.

As well as the centre’s fantastic range of over 70 top retail brands, there’ll be a stunning creative floral display which will turn the South West’s favourite shopping destination into a summer meadow, along with lots of kids’ activities every Tuesday from 31st July until 28th August.

The award-winning Plymouth Theatre Royal workshop team has created giant flowers which will hang from the atrium in the centre, floor level giant flower installations will act as flower seats, and the flowers will spill out onto Old Town Street, creating a pretty focal point in the City.

This stunning floral display will provide a magical backdrop for a wide variety of activities planned throughout the summer, kicking off on July 7 & 8 with a VW campervan photo booth and floral stilt walkers.

For kids who like to clown around there’ll be the opportunity to learn a few tips about life in the ring at circus school, sit back and enjoy a Busy Bees craft and puppet show or try out some face painting.

There’ll also be the chance to explore interesting aspects of Plymouth life at Drake Circus interactive Community Days with the new history centre, The Box, Theatre Royal Plymouth, Mayflower 400 and Plymouth Argyle all taking part.

There’s plenty for the grown-ups too with the opportunity to explore a brilliant range of top high street names at Drake Circus, including newer arrivals like Joules, Cath Kidston, White Stuff and Jack Wills, as well as family favourites Marks and Spencer, Next, H&M, Topshop, Tiger, Lush, Smiggle, Paperchase and Primark.

If the family start feeling a little peckish, there’s lots of great places to eat at Drake Circus. Pop into Yo! Sushi for a fast fun sushi meal on a conveyor belt, pick up a sweet treat at Mr Pretzels or why not try Drake Circus’s newest food offering, the popular casual dining spot, Bill’s.

Parking at Drake Circus is easy and is discounted to £4 from 4pm until midnight. The car park is open from 6.30am until midnight every day.

So if you’d like some fun for all the family while you shop, pop in into Drake Circus, Plymouth this summer.
